Peter's Story

This is Peter! male, 4 years old, neutered. He is very sweet and loving. mostly indoor, but we sometimes let him outdoors to run around for a few hours.

He is energetic and curious. He is quite small for his age and he still looks like a kitten. He is not afraid of strangers and he loves attention. He likes to play, to be picked up, to cuddle and to sit on your shoulders. He is very clean and his fur is as soft as a rabbit's. His energetic nature tends to annoy dogs and he often annoys our other cats. When outside he chases squirells, climbs trees, and pounces on bugs. He is used to getting his nails trimmed monthly if you hold him over your shoulders and another person does the trimming.

He would be best for a home with kids to play with him, either where he is the only pet or where there are other larger cats who can keep him in line as he is pretty territorial. He does need a lot of attention.

He likes to graze throughout the day and is used to free feeding. Catnip makes him a little "spazzy" but he is obsessed with it.

He is ok with any type of litter and loved the Sheba perfect portions wet food and his water fountain.
