Persimmon's Story

If you're searching for a cat with a big heart and a bigger personality, then you'll love Persimmon! At five years old, Persimmon is a cat that wants to be the star of the show. He takes the expression "life is a stage" quite literally: he's always thinking of a new way to entertain his audience of adoring fans. His favorite routines include acrobatics, fetch, and running in time with his human friends as they walk around the cottage. Persimmon can express his happiness through love-bites: but it's all in the name of love, or so he says. His favorite way to wind down after a day of play is by nestling himself in the loving arms of a human friend. Do you want to bring this fine feline home? His contract only has one condition: no other cats are allowed. Persimmon is a solo act, and he is happy to stay that way. While Persimmon lived with dogs in a previous home, a slow, supervised introduction is recommended to ensure a good outcome. Persimmon's adoption fee is $125.00. Come to the Mendocino Coast Humane Society and meet Persimmon today!

Mendocino Coast Humane Society's Adoption Policy
Through our Adoptions Program, we offer a variety of wonderful animals who are deserving of a loving, responsible home.  Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, de-worming, flea treatment, as well as heartworm, feline leukemia and FIV testing.  In addition to being open Monday through Saturday, we also extend our adoption programs reach with our Mobile Pet Adoptions van, which enables us to go into our community with adoptable animals in Mendocino as well as Fort Bragg.  We also feature an adoptable animal weekly on Skunk Radio and in local newspapers. We want you! MCHS is always looking for volunteers. We need people to train dogs, take them out for walks, and to hang out with the cats in our Kitty Cottage. To find out more email us at info@mendocinohumane.org or call us at 964-SPAY.  Website: mendocinohumane.org We are located at 19691 Summers Lane, Fort Bragg, Ca.
