This blue-eyed beauty is sweet and just a little spicy. When it comes to humans, she needs no warming up! Physical touch is her love language, and she wants to be nearby at all times. You’ll hear her coos and purring a mile away. Headbutts are her signature move, and she loves a good head/face massage. She’ll also occasionally roll over for a belly rub and dabbles in being held like a baby. All on her own terms, of course.<br/><br/>She may take a little while to warm up to other cats and is definitely vocal about her boundaries (as any young woman should be). The ideal playmate would be patient and chill, but be able to hold their ground when she gets a bit sassy. Once she realizes they’re cool, she is very playful and will chase them all across the land. <br/><br/>Beware—do not leave food unattended! This girl is very food motivated, and will find it wherever you’ve left it. She also has a sensitive tummy (go figure) so “sensitive skin & stomach” food is a great go-to. <br/><br/>Persephone will bring excitement, love and attitude to any family, and is ready to find her forever home!<br/><br/>You'll notice all of her photos are of her resting -- because she is always moving around so much she's impossible to photograph when she is awake! <br/><br/>Currently in foster care in Palms. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.<br/><br/>When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.<br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
