Percy is one of our ”poets.” A sweet, gabby little charmer, 12 year old DSH Percy was abandoned along with his identical brother Byron and his pretty ”sister” Shelley. According to the sad note that accompanied them their previous owner passed away and they were unwanted. Their gleaming coats and bags of pricy
food left with them suggested a once pampered life. Recent blood work showed that Percy may have early renal disease and is a bit anemic but appears very healthy otherwise. He was just vaccinated and awaiting urinalysis results. Despite what we can only assume has been the most stressful month of his life for Percy, he is the most friendly of the 3 poets. He likes to greet you with a loud "hello" from his favorite cozy spot on an eye-level shelf. All 3 have allowed handling, poking, and prodding with some LOUD complaints but they are all meow and no bite! Percy weighs only 6 lbs - but loves you with every ounce he has! Although they arrived together, the 3 poets do not seem exceptionally bonded, so we are comfortable homing them separately. Please consider giving tiny Percy the golden years he deserves!
