Peppy & Ricky's Story

Pep Pep (Peppy) and Ricky are a bonded pair that met at our fancy cat cattery! These two have been inseparable for quite some time and despite coming in from two separate places, they are a bonded pair and must go together to their new home.

.They are both shy, but very sweet kitties. Pep Pep was rescued from the NYC shelter after she and many others were surrendered from a hoarding situation Cats from hoarding homes are usually not given enough attention or love from humans as kittens, which makes cats like Peppy skittish around new people. Ricky was trapped with his siblings as a kitten from a gas station trash bin in the middle of the winter. He is shy to new people but once he knows you, he will become friendly, talkative and affectionate...

They are great with other cats and can easily fit in with your current cat family. We would place them only in a quieter home, without dogs and very young children (13+) to ensure they are not overly stressed leading to increased skittish behavior.

Both are young, healthy, and ready for adoption. Their adoption fee is $150 (for the pair)

Please complete the adoption application which can be found on our website;

https://savingfancycats.org/adoption-application

**Please be sure to check your spam or junk email folders for our response to you as many of our response emails are sent here!!

Adopting a cat from Felines For Adoption Cat Rescue (dba Saving Fancy Cats) 1. If you see a cat that is posted on petfinder.com, they are still available for adoption - but the cat could have potential adopters currently in the vetting process. If you're interested in the cat and want to be considered, please simply complete our adoption application. https://savingfancycats.org/adoption-application 2. We are an all volunteer organization and have limited staff to manage the amount of adoption inquiries and individual questions we receive on all of our adoptable cats and therefore we do not respond to emails or phone calls about the cats posted unless there is an adoption application sent in first. https://savingfancycats.org/adoption-application 3. We review applications on a first come, first serve basis, but we match cats based upon the first best match. It may take 3-5 business days for us to respond to your application. We will not respond to your application if we have either; found an adopter, or believe your home/situation is not the best fit for the cat. Our goal is to ensure the highest possibility of a successful adoption that lasts the cat's entire lifetime. **Please be sure to check your spam or junk email folders for our response to your application as many times our email is flagged! 4. We will request the following from all applicants before you are approved as an adopter and/or meet the cats in person; - a virtual or in-person tour or photos of the interior of your home. - 2 personal and 1 veterinary reference -rental/lease agreements (if you rent) or HOA pet agreements. -at least one alternative party who would be responsible for the cat(s) if you were unable to care for them short or long term. -you must have the capability of keeping the newly adopted cat(s) in a room with a door in order to be separated from the rest of your home and any other pet for at least 14 days.
