Peppermint's Story

My name's Peppermint and the shelter is very stressful for me. I'm not on my best behavior here so pardon my manners. I like to be the only animal in the home since I don't like sharing attention. The ladies here say I'm the independent type but that could change in the right house but there's no guarantee. I like pets on my time and when I'm in the mood for them. I'm looking for a special kind of person to taking me home, someone who doesn't mind going slow and giving me time to adjust, and may not want a super cuddly cat. As long as I have a couch, tv with birds, and a hidey hole I'll be happy.
