PEPPERMINT's Story

Peppermint is beauty, brains, and just a little bit of attitude wrapped up in one stunning white coat with striking black markings. With her supermodel looks and sharp, watchful eyes, she turns heads instantly — and she knows it too. This quirky girl arrived at the shelter after being found living alongside a feral cat colony. Interestingly, Peppermint was wearing a collar, leaving everyone wondering how a clearly social and affectionate cat ended up surviving outdoors for so long. Whether she became lost or was abandoned, she had evidently been fending for herself for quite some time. After spending a couple of weeks settling into foster care, Peppermint’s true personality has blossomed. She is confident, clever, alert, and wonderfully affectionate once she bonds with her people. She loves to cuddle, forms strong attachments, and absolutely adores being involved in whatever you’re doing. She’s also extremely food motivated and will make sure meal times are never forgotten. Peppermint is very much a queen who knows what she wants. Dogs are a hard no for her, likely due to her time surviving on the streets, and while she can tolerate other cats, she is incredibly bossy and would truly thrive as the center of attention in her own home. She’s looking for a cat-savvy adopter who appreciates a strong personality and understands that the best cats often come with a little spice. Peppermint has tested positive for FIV but is currently completely symptom-free, and many FIV-positive cats live long, healthy, happy lives. A true princess through and through — smart, opinionated, affectionate, and impossible to forget.
