Pepper Jack's Story
đŸŒ¶đŸ§€ Meet Pepper Jack! đŸŒ¶đŸ§€

Making his way to the adoption scene is Pepper Jack, a playful boy just under 3.5 years old who loves spending his days with a feather wand, watching feathered friends, or cozying up with you on feathered pillows. He also gets the cutest smile on his face when he's playing that will melt your heart.

He loves double cheek scratches and being your center of attention. He's as clever as he is curious, following his foster mom all around the house to see what he can help with. When playing, he has the cutest smile on his face when he's playing that will melt your heart.

Pepper Jack is searching for a forever home where he can play with wand toys to his hearts content, eat good food, and snuggle with a pair of legs on the couch. FIV+, he is living his best life and gets along with other cat friends too. He has not met dogs but with gentle introduction we think he would do ok with a low energy pupper. He's also on a prescription urinary diet, which keeps him feeling healthy and ready for all the snuggles and snacks life has to offer.

Pepper Jack is now accepting adoption applications, available below!

Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a cat-specific virus that cannot be passed onto dogs or humans. FIV is spread through deep bite wounds, typically seen on outdoor male cats who have not been neutered. It's rarely spread through grooming, sharing bowls, or litter boxes. FIV affects a cat's immune system, but most cats live long lives when they live indoors, receive routine veterinary care, have a stress-free home, and a good diet. To learn more about FIV, please visit the link below.

https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/

______________________________

Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/

Please Note:

If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed.

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
