She is extremely polite and affectionate and a perfect indoor kitty. She prefers to let you know when she wants to be held and if you sit in a chair she happily jumps into your lap for affection.<br/><br/>Pepper is patient and has a gentle nature. She can seem shy when adapting to a new place, but quickly will begin to happily explore. <br/><br/>Background <br/><br/>Pepper was found behind a garage parking lot with no shelter, food or water. She was extremely thin, malnourished and very friendly, even to a stranger. Her finder left her food and water and then returned two more days to feed her. On the third day they brought a cat carrier and she walked right into the carrier. She must have either been lost or dumped. They posted her as a found stray and tried to find her home but no one claimed her. She was spayed at The Greater Good on April 29th, dewormed, vaccinated, and given flea treatment. Good Neighbors Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Adoption Policy Visits are available by Video chat with the adoptable pet's foster home (Facetime or Zoom). Email us at GNARAnimalRescue@gmail.com and we will get you in direct contact with the volunteer who fosters the pet you are interested in. GNAR is all foster home based and volunteer run. We don't have a facility for visiting animals, but pets are fostered and socialized in home settings by volunteers. This makes our adoption process more personal, as every foster home knows their adoptable pets well, and keeps our overhead costs to a minimum. Email us at GNARAnimalRescue@gmail.com to foster, donate or volunteer. All adoptions require an application to be submitted and screened. After approval, payment of an adoption donation holds the pet for you. It takes about 2-3 days to complete the application process, from initial inquiry to pick up of the pet. Email us at GNARAnimalRescue@gmail.com to request an Adoption or Foster2Adopt application to be sent to you. All adoptions are conducted at a local pet store.
