Hi, I'm Pepper!

Have you ever been serenaded by a handsome panther with a high-pitched meow, a whole lot of opinions, and the athletic abilities of a tiny marathon runner? No? Well, allow me to introduce myself!

I'm about 2 years old, super smart, ridiculously playful, and VERY vocal. When I meow at you, I look you directly in the eyes because I believe good communication requires eye contact.

But my most impressive talent? I love to run on the cat wheel at the shelter! While other cats are busy napping, I'm clocking in for my next workout. I absolutely LOVE running on that thing.

Now, underneath all this personality is a story that didn't exactly start out fairytale-like.

I was living outside near a farm in Milton, PA, alongside my brother, Saffron, and more than 15 other cats. We're not sure how we ended up there, but the area is unfortunately known for people dumping unwanted cats. Thankfully, a wonderful woman made sure we had food and looked out for us. When winter temperatures dropped below freezing last year, she opened her home to us so we wouldn't freeze outside. She eventually contacted Stray Cat Sanctuary, and that's how we got our second chance.

These days, we're neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for FeLV/FIV. We get along wonderfully with the other shelter cats, love people, and are ready to find families of our own.

Well... almost our own.

You see, my brother Saffron is my absolute best friend, and we MUST be adopted together! He's the cuddly social butterfly who greets every visitor and gently grabs your hand when you stop petting him. I'm the high-pitched commentator who will keep you entertained, challenge you to a staring contest, and snuggle with you on the sofa.

My shelter family says we're an absolute joy, and they are SO surprised we haven't found our loving homes yet.

We may have had a rough start, but we're dreaming of a future filled with warm beds, full food bowls, loving humans, and a home where we can finally settle in and be somebody's beloved family members.

Could you be the person who gives Saffron and me our happily ever after? I promise to tell you ALL about my day... whether you ask or not. And if you happen to have treats and warm bed, well, I think this relationship could be the beginning of something beautiful.

Adoption Application:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SCPA/Cat
