Pepper's Story

Meet Pepper, one of our newest FFN intakes. Pepper was living on the streets of St Marys ON when the community he was living in decided it was time to try and get him some help. FFN provided a trap and instructions on how to get him used to entering the trap to eat. A vet appt. was booked and Pepper was trapped, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and given parasite prevention. He was moved to a foster home where he spent some time getting used to his new space and then slowly being introduced to the resident kitties. We know Pepper has had a bit of a hard time outdoors as our vet partners confirmed he is missing 2 back toes which were completed healed up when he was trapped/neutered.
Turns out Pepper is a pretty, sweet boy, shy at first (not good with fast movements which still startle him) but he loves playing with the other cats in his foster home and get the zoomies with one of the resident kitties. We think Pepper would be happiest in a home with another young, cat friendly neutered male cat that he can play with. A quieter home (at this point) would likely be best. Our best guestimate is that Pepper is approx. 2 yrs old.
If you would like more info on Pepper - please complete the online adoption inquiry form and a volunteer will be in touch.
https://www.felinefriends.ca/foster-and-adoption
