Penny and Pippa's Story
If you could use a little more joy and smiles in your life, let us introduce you to Pippa and Penny. These two charming sisters were born to a stray mom in Oak Ridge around 9/15/2025. Pippa is the deal-point Siamese mix, and Penny is the short-haired black and white tuxedo. A good Samaritan was feeding everyone and when the kittens got a little older, sought help with TNR (trap-neuter-return). Since it's always worth a try to tame would-be homeless kittens, a Stray Connection foster took these two. Penny, the tuxedo, had already decided she wanted to be a pet. Pippa was less convinced but is coming around noticeably every day. Even when she's nervous, she loves to be hugged securely. She's even starting to show her playful side and is welcoming gentle petting. While Penny is ready for anything, Pippa would prefer a calm environment, at least for now. Although we don't know first-hand about dogs and kids, we suspect they would adapt to gentle dogs and older kids. WE PLAN TO ADOPT THEM LOCALLY AS A PAIR. If interested in these cutie pies, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 (land line) or hhfrey1@tds.net
