Penny's Story

Meet Penny, an absolutely adorable 1-year-old dark tortie who completely defies the classic "tortitude" stereotype! This sweet, social young girl is a total sweetheart who is looking for a forever home ready to shower her with plenty of attention and interactive playtime. Penny is versatile when it comes to her ideal living arrangement--she can easily be your cherished one-and-only, or she can fit into a roommate scenario with a resident cat. If there is another cat in the home, they would live somewhat independently of each other: peacefully coexisting, but not bonding or playing together. Think of them as roomies who respect each other's space while doing their own thing! A very slow, proper introduction is essential to set everyone up for a smooth transition. She did not care for dogs while in foster care, so she must go to a dog-free home. However, she would love to have kids (ages 5+) in the family who are excited to engage with her, wave her feather wands, and join in on playtime! If you're looking for an affectionate, playful, and charming companion to brighten up your days, Penny is ready to find her perfect match! Her adoption fee is $200.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
