Penelope's Story
On April 24, 2026 a very young kitten, estimated to only be 1 week old (DOB about 4-18-26) was brought to Northwood Animal Hospital on emergency. She was found at Williams Communications, Memphis and Nashville drives.

She is a black DSH female. We named her Penelope. She was handraised at Northwood Animal Hospital. She had some bumps in the road, experiencing severe hypoglycemic event end of May which was treated then treated for gastroenteritis in mid July. She has made it through her medical challenges and now seems to be a happy, healthy kitten. She is proceeding through her kitten vaccines, was negative for FeLV/FIV and has been spayed and microchipped.

Serafina and Penelope are best buds, having grown up together.

Penelope is ready to find a family to love her.

Name: Penelope
Gender: Female/Spayed
Birthday: 4/18/26
Current Location: Northwood Animal Hospital
Minimum Adoption Donation: $100
