Peeka 's Story

Peeka has come such a long way!! She still severely dislikes other cats, but she’s now a happy, thriving, social kitty who trusts and loves and wants to be the queen of a calm home’s castle.

We envision for her a quiet home where the adopter is tortie savvy and knows how to read cues when Peeka has had enough petting (stimulation). Now that other cats aren’t around she’s WAAYYY better and her demeanor has changed significantly.

She’s probably one of the most affectionate cats I’ve fostered and her favorite thing is to curl up on your chest and rub her face into you.

She soaks up love and is so deserving of it. She also likes to be carried and held. Not a big player, she mostly just likes to lounge and be near her people. She’s the best companion and a beautiful older kitty (8-10 years old ) that deserves to live the rest of her life in a true home, not just a foster home.

We can then schedule you for a "meet and greet" where you can determine if the cat is a good fit for you. Afterwards, we will perform a virtual home check (a video detailing your house, where the cat will sleep, eat, use the litter box, etc.). Once approved, we do a two week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the cat is a good fit for your home.
