Pecan's Story

Meet Pecan!! (case #18485)

Meet Pecan, a handsome little whirlwind with four paws, a very big personality, and A LOT of energy to burn!

Pecan is the kind of kitten who believes every room is his personal racetrack. He absolutely loves running full speed around the house, zooming from one adventure to the next and generally keeping everyone entertained. And when he isn't busy burning off his energy, he has another important mission: convincing his sister Daisy to play with him. He will try just about anything to get her attention even when she's perfectly happy lounging around like the queen she is.

Pecan is also very, very vocal. If he's hungry, you'll hear about it. If he wants dinner, you'll definitely hear about it. And if it's time to turn on the cat TV, Pecan has absolutely no problem letting you know that you've been neglecting your duties.

For all his energy and antics, Pecan is also a very affectionate boy. He loves being petted and can become especially attached to certain people. In fact, Pecan may decide that one particular human is his person. If he chooses you as his favourite, congratulations — you've been selected! Don't take it personally if someone else doesn't receive quite the same level of enthusiasm. Pecan simply knows what he likes.

He's currently comfortable being picked up and handled, but short cuddle sessions are definitely his preference. After all, there are zoomies to complete, toys to investigate, Daisy to bother, and important cat business to attend to!

Pecan does have one more adorable quirk: every now and then, when he's feeling particularly happy and relaxed, he may drool a little. It happens much less frequently than with Daisy, but apparently happy Pecan occasionally forgets to keep his mouth closed.

Pecan would thrive with a family who appreciates a kitten with energy, opinions, a big voice, and an even bigger personality. He'd love plenty of playtime, opportunities to explore, and humans who don't mind being kept informed about everything happening in his world.

If you're looking for an affectionate little chaos machine who will make you laugh, keep you on your toes, and loudly remind you when it's dinner or Cat TV time, Pecan could be your guy! Meet him at our adoption partner, PetSmart. The address is 1779 Stone Church Road East, Stoney Creek.

**Please note: we only adopt within Ontario.
