Pebbles & Bam Bam's Story

Meet Pebbles & Bam-Bam! At five months old, bonded sisters Pebbles and Bam-Bam have already survived more than any kittens should have to. Rescued from life outdoors in a neighborhood with near-constant car traffic, these girls were the only kittens in their litter to survive. Their mom was barely nine months old herself. Fortunately, their days of worrying about survival are behind them, and they’re ready to spend the rest of their lives being someone’s very spoiled little weirdos.

Both girls are sweet, social, and completely unbothered by meeting new people. They love playing and cuddling with their older foster siblings and the resident cats, and they have plenty of kitten energy to keep their humans entertained. Favorite toys are subject to fierce negotiations, sometimes involving a little growling and resource guarding, but these disputes tend to be short-lived. After all, there’s always another toy to conquer. Or a nap to take. Because priorities.

These sisters also have their own highly distinctive love languages. Pebbles expresses affection through little love bites to her human’s face, because apparently ordinary kisses are for amateurs. Bam-Bam prefers to suckle enthusiastically on her foster mom’s earlobes. Yes, really. She’s the more laid-back, easygoing sister, while Pebbles brings a little more spice to the relationship. Bam-Bam may not win any conventional beauty contests, but she more than makes up for it with her sweet disposition. (Fortunately, she has no plans to pursue a modeling career.)

Pebbles and Bam-Bam must be adopted together. They’re deeply bonded sisters who have already been through enough together, and they deserve to grow up side by side. They did wonderfully when introduced to an infant, so a home with respectful children is a possibility. They haven’t been around dogs, so any canine introductions would need to be handled thoughtfully. The girls adore their older feline friends and resident cats, but they haven’t been nearly as welcoming to kittens who arrived after them. If you already have cats, you’ll need to follow a slow, gradual introduction protocol and give everyone time to adjust. Skip the introductions and rush things, and your home could become a tiny-feline war zone!

These two little survivors are now ready for a home where they can play hard, cuddle harder, and continue developing their very individual approaches to showing love!

They are spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and up-to-date on all of their vaccinations. If you’re looking for a pair of affectionate, outgoing kittens with big personalities, tiny bodies, and absolutely no shortage of opinions, Pebbles and Bam-Bam might just be your girls.

Note: All of our cats are in foster homes in the Pittsburgh area, so the first step in adopting from us is to fill out an application here:
http://bit.ly/3VDJfhm
