PEBBLES - ADOPTION PENDING's Story

Meet PEBBLES A Sweetheart Looking for a Special Someone. PEBBLES is proof that some of the best cats come wrapped in the sweetest personalities. After her original finder, a long-haul truck driver, could no longer keep her, she found herself at a local shelter. Now shes hoping for a second chance with a family to call her own. PEBBLES is an incredibly affectionate, easygoing girl who loves people and enjoys the company of other cats. Shes gentle, easy to handle, and does wonderfully with children, making her an excellent companion for a family or anyone looking for a calm, loving friend. PEBBLES is FIV-positive, which means she can live a long, happy life indoors and can safely live with other friendly cats. We would be happy to answer any questions about FIV and what it means for her future. Read more at http://animals-in-distress.org/FIV

PEBBLES also has a heart condition. A veterinary cardiologist diagnosed her with mild thickening of her heart muscle and a small ventricular septal defect (VSD). At this time, she does not require any medication or treatment and is living a completely normal life. Her cardiologist recommends periodic monitoring and rechecks, especially if she were ever to develop symptoms. Some cats with her condition never experience problems, while others may develop progression over time. We will provide her adopter with her cardiologists recommendations and are happy to discuss her medical history in detail. PEBBLES doesn't let any of this define her. Shes happy, loving, playful, and ready to spend her days curled up beside the people she loves.

If you're looking for a truly special cat and are willing to give a deserving girl the loving home she deserves, PEBBLES will reward you with endless affection. PEBBLES is already spayed, up to date on vaccines, and litter box trained. She has tested negative for FelV. eDOB 7/28/2025

SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR A MEET AND GREET:
- To submit an application directly, go to: animals-in-distress.org/adoptions
- As part of our adoption process, we ask all potential adopters to complete an application before scheduling any meet and greets.
