Pearle's Story

Meet Pearle - a tiny girl with the confidence of a mountain lion. She's fully convinced she's one of the big cats, and the adult cats in the house seem to agree. Pearle loves having feline friends to wrestle, chase, nap beside, and supervise throughout the day.

Being alone is simply not her style - she's a social butterfly in cat form and wants to be best friends with everyone she meets.

Pearle's hobbies include attacking strings with Olympic-level dedication, chasing dangly toys like they owe her money, and zooming around the house with the other cats. At bedtime, she happily curls up on the bed nearby so she can keep tabs on her humans all night long.

She's not much of a lap cat, but she is a professional pet receiver. Give her a few scratches and she starts purring like a tiny motorboat. She also takes her meals very seriously and never misses an opportunity for snacks.

Pearle hasn't met dogs yet, but with a respectful pup and a little time, she'd likely adjust just fine. What she does know for sure is that other cats are amazing and everyone should be her friend immediately.

Pearle is the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, goofy, and independent - the kind of little cat who quietly becomes the heart of the home.

Adopters have 30 days of free access to 1-on-1 text and email support from behaviorists at Petcademy to help make every pet's transition into their new home as smooth as possible. All cats available for adoption have been spayed/neutered, microchipped and are current on all vaccinations. Please email cats@henricohumane.org for more information.
