Pearl's Story

Meet Pearl, a stunning 8-month-old snow-white beauty with a heart as pure as her coat. While she has the curiosity of a kitten, she has a remarkably gentle soul and a unique preference for the "distinguished" crowd.

Pearl has found her best friend in Yule, a 10-year-old silver tabby (also listed on Petfinder). Despite their age gap, they are constant companions. Pearl looks to Yule for guidance and comfort, and in return, she keeps his spirit young. We find them usually sharing a sunbeam, grooming one another, or napping in a heap of silver and white fur.

The Dream Home:
Because they rely on each other, we are dreaming of a "forever home" that has room for both. You’ll get the best of both worlds: the playful energy of a kitten and the calm, steady love of a senior gentleman.

If Pearl cannot go home with Yule:
She is a social butterfly who truly needs a feline friend. She would thrive in a home with another gentle, welcoming cat who can match her kind nature and keep her company.

Potential adopters complete an online application. All applications are then reviewed and potential candidates are contacted for a phone interview/conversation to ask/answer questions, determine if the cat is a good match for their home/family, and then discuss next steps. If both sides want to move forward, we ask for a video tour of the home and also any relevant medical records for their resident cat. Additional conversations often follow - suggestions for addressing potential hazards in the home (e.g. poisonous plant). If everything checks out with those two items, the adoption is approved and adopter is given information on supplies to purchase.
