*Special needs*<br/>Pearl is diabetic. She is taking Bexacat tablets to manage her condition. Pearl takes one tablet daily mixed in her can food breakfast. She is very good about eating the medication in her food. She gets several small can food meals a day. Pearl is eating Sheba pate. No dry food. <br/><br/>Pearl is a pretty gal with snow white fur and stunning gold eyes. She is a gentle and sweet girl. She LOVES People. Pearl wants to be a single feline. Pearl is looking for a quiet home where she can enjoy the simple things in life - good food, sunny window sills to watch the birds and squirrels and a cozy bed to nap in. We think she will be a lovely companion to someone, maybe you?<br/><br/>Pearl is about 10 years old and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She is micro-chipped. Pearl's adoption fee will be waived for an approved adopter.<br/><br/>Her background story: <br/>She originally came into our care from a hoarding situation. Pearl has been adopted 3 times. Her first adopter passed away, the 2nd one had health challenges where they were no longer able to care for her, the 3rd person was not able to care for her recently discovered diabetic condition. We are hopeful that she will find her forever home this time. She so deserves it. <br/><br/>Our adoption fee ($75 for cats 1 year and over or $100 for kittens) includes a free vet visit with one of our participating vets.<br/><br/>All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated for rabies and distemper and have been treated, if necessary, for fleas and parasites.<br/><br/>We have Open Hours on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am 1pm, Saturdays from 10am - 4pm or Sundays from 2 to 5 pm. People can stop by without an appointment. Please note we do not do same day adoptions.<br/><br/>We recommend filling out an adoption application first; then you can be pre-approved before your visit.
