Meet Peanut!<br/><br/>Peanut loves to stay close to her people even if she doesn't prefer to be held. She would always sit next to someone when given the option otherwise she would be laying across the floor soaking up the sun rays. She also loves to nap in chairs and cat towers where she can keep an eye on everyone while lounging. <br/><br/>She can be a loner sometimes and does not always want attention but still will take a Churu if you are offering. She likes to play with wand toys sometimes and has enjoyed spending supervised time outdoors as well! Catios and covered porches are some great ways to allow your cat some outdoor time.<br/><br/>Peanut has been around children and may do better in a quieter home. She has spent time around cats and may prefer to be the only cat in her home. Slow and proper introductions are recommended when introducing a new animal into the home.<br/><br/>*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.<br/><br/>**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
