Peaches's Story
Peaches came to Good Mews for a better chance of finding a home. She went to foster care until room opened up at the shelter. She was very scared at first and could be found hiding in the sink. Her foster mom was able to pet her in the sink and gradually Peaches became more comfortable in the house and with her foster mom. She is still a little skittish but started to approach foster mom for pets. There was an older laid back cat in the house and they were fine together-they coexisted, she didn't seem afraid. She wasn't a fan of wand toys-she seemed a little afraid of them but loved to chase balls and toy mice. Her adopter will need to give her time to settle in and become comfortable. Did I mention her cute chirp and constant purr?
