She’s on the shy side and tends to observe the world from a safe distance at first, but having Papaya by her side gives her the confidence she needs to feel secure. Because of this special bond, Peaches would truly love to be adopted together with her sister.<br/><br/>Once she starts to trust you, Peaches will gently take treats right from your hand, which is her quiet way of saying “thank you.” She enjoys playing with toys and does well with the other cats in the cat house, making her a wonderful candidate for a calm, patient home. With a little time, love, and her sister close by, Peaches is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. <br/><br/>Peaches' date of birth is 5/15/2025. <br/><br/>All FCAR adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccines, negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and come with a 30-day pet health guarantee. (Local adoptions only.) The adoption fee is $95 with an approved application. This fee includes:<br/>• Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian<br/>• Up to date on all vaccinations and current on flea/tick prevention<br/>• Spayed/Neutered<br/>• Microchipped<br/><br/>Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued All animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:<br/><br/>• A video of the inside of your home showing where the cat will be living, where his litter box, bowls, etc., will be placed<br/>• Veterinary reference for previous and current pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations) We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations for your cats, and heartworm prevention and vaccinations for any dogs.<br/>• If renting, verification with Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting one our rescues, please submit an adoption application at<br/>https://www.fayettefcar.com/ready-to-adopt, where you can also review FCAR’s adoption requirements.
