King George Animal Control's Adoption Policy
Adoptions for cats and dogs must be made in person. There are typically more adoptable cats than posted here due to frequent turnover. Adoption fees are $25 (Cash or check) and a $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit (for unsterilized animals). This refund is CASH ONLY refund in form of check from county once spay/neuter is proven to be completed by vet within 30 days. Bring a collar and leash to adopt a dog and a carrier to adopt a cat. Adoptions take place at 11377 Citizens Way, King George, VA 22485. Hours: Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday and Holidays Closed.
