Patience's Story

Patience got her name because that's what it took to outwit her for capture; but then also in a certain pose she looks a little like Patience using her ghost power on the TV show Ghosts.

At an estimated 1 year old, she chases corks, loves catnip, plays like a kitten with her kittens, loves to hop up on a lap for pets, and enjoys sprawling in a window ledge watching the world go by or taking in the cool autumn breezes.

Her mottled coloration includes a white spot on the chest and a couple other random white spots, beige-orange spots on a back foot, dilute orange peeking out from under gray throughout her lanky body. She is a particularly long cat. Half of her face looks sprinkled with beige-orange glitter.

Patience produced stunningly beautiful orange and white offspring (Casey and Mack are listed on PetFinder, Reba was adopted). Now Patience has been spayed, microchipped, vet checked. Vaccinations appropriate to age are done. She is negative for feline leukemia and FIV.

She has not yet integrated with cats other than her kittens, but has gotten used to household sounds like TV and running water.

Visit to foster's home is possible with fully screened application. Please fill out the online form and a volunteer will be in touch within 48 hours.
