Patches's Story

Meet Patches: A Spicy Tortie with a Sweet Side

Patches is a classic tortoiseshell - full of personality, opinions, and unmistakable attitude. She can be incredibly sweet, affectionate, and charming... and she can also let you know very clearly when she's had enough.

She enjoys pets and will rub up against her people for affection, but when she's done, she may gently swat, deliver a love bite, or hiss to communicate that she wants space. She is not a fan of being picked up and will let you know if she doesn't want to be handled. Because of this, Patches would probably not be a good fit for a home with small children.

What to know about Patches:
Sweet and affectionate - on her terms
Has attitude and isn't shy about expressing it
Enjoys pets and rubbing up against people
Does not like being picked up

Patches does best socially with male cats and does not get along well with other female cats.
