Patch's Story

Hello, my name is Patch, and I’m what the humans like to call a pocket panther! I’m sleek, stylish, and mostly midnight black — with just a tiny splash of white on the tip of my tail and a little patch on my chest to keep things interesting.

I’m a shy boy at first, but don’t let that fool you — I have a big personality once I’m comfortable. I’m very curious about the world around me and love to play, especially when I can explore at my own pace. I enjoy spending time with the other kitties here and would be happiest in a quieter home where I can feel safe. Because of my gentle, timid nature, I’d do best without small children or big dogs.

If you’re looking for a sweet, curious companion with a soft heart and a playful side, I might be the perfect match for you.

I have had my Distemper and Rabies Vaccines, have Combo Tested Negative, and am neutered.

The adoption fee is $125. The adoption process begins with an Adoption Application that is located at http://www.faithfulfriendsnc.org/adopt

Once your completed-in-full application has been submitted, the humans will review it. If the humans have questions or want to set up an appointment for you to meet one of us, they will contact you. Please read all guidelines before sending in an application. Do not reach out to the sanctuary about the status of your application, we will contact you if we are interested in setting up an appointment.
Thank You!

Please read before applying. We place our animals—many from neglectful or abusive backgrounds—only in safe, responsible homes. Basic requirements include up-to-date vet care for current/past pets (Rabies, Distemper, annual exams, heartworm prevention for dogs), safe housing, and a vet reference check from all clinics used in the last 10 years. Renters must provide landlord approval. First-time adopters ages 21–25 may need additional info. You must apply for a specific animal and complete the application fully. Approved applicants will be contacted to schedule a meet & greet; we cannot provide status updates due to high volume.
