Hello, my name is Patch! I am a pocket panther. I have a tiny bit of white on the tip of my tail and on my chest. I am a shy boy with a big personality. I am very curious about the world around me and I love to play. I like to hang out with the other kitties here and I would do best in a quieter home without any small children or big dogs. I have had my Distemper and Rabies Vaccines, and have Combo Tested Negative. The adoption fee of $125 includes the spay/neuter surgery. The adoption process begins with an Adoption Application that is located at http://www.faithfulfriendsnc.org/adopt Once your completed-in-full application has been submitted, the humans will review it. If the humans have questions or want to set up an appointment for you to meet one of us, they will contact you. Please read all guidelines before sending in an application. Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary's Adoption Policy

Adoption Guidelines Please read carefully before applying. We reserve the right to decline any application. Many of our animals come from neglectful or abusive backgrounds, and we place them only in safe, responsible homes. General Requirements -Valid ID and current address required. -All adults in the household must consent to the adoption. We look for a history of responsible pet ownership: -All current/past pets up-to-date on Rabies and Distemper (DA2PP for dogs, FVRCP for cats). -Dogs must be on heartworm prevention. -All current/past pets must have a history of annual wellness visits. -Pets must be kept in safe, appropriate housing. We verify this through vet reference checks from all clinics used in the last 10 years. Please contact your vet to give permission before submitting your application. Renters: Written authorization from your landlord (including name, phone number, and a copy of your lease) must be provided before adoption approval. Young or First-Time Adopters (ages 21–25): If you haven’t owned a pet in the past 10 years, please include: -Parent/guardian contact information and their vet’s details. -Your plan for vet care (clinic name, vaccines, and preventatives). -A budget for vetting, food, grooming, and other expenses. Adoption Process Step 1: Find the Animal You’d Like to Adopt All adoptable pets are listed on our website. You must apply for a specific animal. Read the Petfinder description completely to ensure the pet fits your lifestyle. Some animals: -Require fenced yards. -Need experienced owners. -Are not suitable with children or other pets. Step 2: Submit Your Adoption Application Complete the application in full to help us find the best match. Incomplete applications will not be processed. Step 3: Application Review Each application is carefully reviewed by staff. This includes: -Vet reference check (vaccinations, annual exams, heartworm prevention). -Rental check (if applicable). -Evaluation of compatibility between your household and the pet’s needs. We may decline applications that contain incomplete or inaccurate information. Step 4: Meet & Greet If your application is approved, we’ll schedule a meet and greet at the sanctuary with all household members (including pets). This ensures everyone is comfortable with the match. Please note: We only schedule meetings for approved applicants who have completed all prior steps. Due to high application volume, we cannot provide status updates. We’ll contact you if we have questions or to schedule a meet and greet. Thank you for your patience and cooperation! Adoption Fees Dogs: $250 – Includes spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention, deworming, and treatment for any intake health issues. Cats: $125 – Includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, FeLV/FIV testing, deworming, and treatment for any intake health issues.
