Pat's Story

Hi, my name is Pat and I am a 2 year old handsome boy with a big purr, and I love chin scratches. I was from an outside colony, so inside is still new to me. It takes me a bit to warm up, and loud noises aren't my favorite. My foster mom is still working on getting me to lay in her lap (unsuccessfully, but we are getting closer). I need someone who is willing to let me adjust at my own pace, and give me space. I love a good feather wand, no feather is safe with me!

I am also FeLV+ Progressive. Which means that I can only be in a house with other FeLV+ cats, alone by myself, or with other animals who aren't cats. I haven't been tested with other animals, but I am really willing to learn. Besides being FeLV+ and also needing a special urinary diet, I really am a healthy cat. We all have our own unique situations and that is just mine. If you think you can open your heart to me, I am definitely willing to try with you.

Please visit our website www.heavenlypawsshelter.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available cats and kittens.

Welcome to the Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter's adoption process. The first step towards adopting one of our special babies is to fill out our simple one page application. We will be in touch within 24 hours after receiving your application. Each one of our cats are tested for leukemia and aids, receive their initial vaccines (distemper), vet check-up as needed, treatment for fleas, worms, parasites, ear mites, and their nails trimmed. If the cat/kitten is old enough they may have more done for them, such as, rabies vaccine and second distemper vaccine. If they are old enough prior to adoption they will be spayed or neutered. If not, you will be given a spay/neuter certificate for one of our local vets we work with. Our business office is located in Seven Valleys (York County, PA).
