Parker & Dolly's Story

**Note: PetFinder sometimes has issues with delivering inquiries. If you do not hear from us within a couple days, please email us directly at stina.larson@gmail.com or email directly regardless.**

Parker and Dolly were found as kittens in a rural area without their mother — lucky for everyone, someone spotted them just in time. They were rescued and brought to their foster home where they have grown up safe, healthy, and into two wonderfully sweet young cats who are ready for the next chapter.

Parker is a good looking boy in a handsome tabby coat with the most adorable little face. He has a charming habit of squinting his eyes every time a camera appears — whether this is modesty, mischief, or simply his signature look remains a mystery, but it only makes him more endearing. Parker is a calm, easygoing boy who never gets into trouble and seems to have no interest in starting now. He loves pets and will reward them with a loud, enthusiastic purr, and he is a big fan of finding a cozy spot and settling in contentedly. He is not much of a lap cat — he prefers to be near his humans or to curl up in his favorite cozy corner — but he is sweet and affectionate in his own perfectly Parker way.

Dolly is a striking tuxedo girl with a distinctive white stripe down her nose that makes her completely one of a kind. She is every bit as sweet as her brother and absolutely soaks up every bit of affection that comes her way. Unlike Parker, Dolly is a devoted lap cat who will happily claim any available lap and settle in for as long as she is welcome — which, let's be honest, will be a very long time. Together, Parker and Dolly balance each other out beautifully — one cozy and calm, one cuddly and lap-loving, both absolutely wonderful.

When playtime calls, these two answer enthusiastically — chasing toys, playing all kinds of kitten games, and generally entertaining everyone around them. When they are finally all tuckered out, they snuggle up together, or Dolly goes in search of the nearest available lap.

Parker and Dolly have been fostered with dogs and would do just fine with a cat-friendly pup. They would do best with older children who know how to be gentle with animals and give them space when needed.

A calm gentleman and his lap-loving sister — Parker and Dolly are a perfectly balanced pair ready to bring their own special brand of sweetness to your home.

Their adoption fee is $250 (total).

Parker and Dolly were born around 6/1/26. They have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.

We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.

For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info

Adopter understands that kittens/cats available for adoption have been rescued from a variety of situations, including neglect/abuse, as such could be subject to health or behavioral problems not known at this time. Adopter agrees and accepts the kitten/cat with this understanding. The kittens/cats are healthy and up to date on all vaccines and medical treatments which were necessary for the health of the kitten/cat. Rescuer/foster makes no further guarantees or warranties of any kind for health of the kitten/cat and that the adopter assumes all risks at/from the time of initial possession and following. Adopter understands full responsibility for the health and welfare of the adopted kitten/cat for the duration of the natural life. The responsibility includes all costs for veterinary and health needs, housing and shelter, food and any other expenses related to care and welfare. Adopter agrees to contact a veterinarian to follow up vaccines, if needed. Adopter understands that declawing cats is a cruel procedure and will not do that to the adopted kitten/cat. Adopter agrees to pay the adoption fee/donation. We do not have an adoption application, but we do want to speak to the potential adopter and ask a few questions in order to make sure we find the right fit for our cats/kittens.
