PARKER's Story

Hi, my name is Parker! I am a friendly guy. I came to the shelter as a transfer from another facility so I could receive a more thorough health evaluation.

I’m a senior guy with a few manageable medical findings, including some dental disease (not urgent, but I would benefit from a dental cleaning in the future), a heart murmur, and some weight concerns.

Despite these, I’m a happy and content companion. I would do best with a family who can provide routine veterinary care, and I recommend follow-up with your regular veterinarian after adoption to help keep me feeling my best. I'm a stylishly senior pet and therefore my adoption fee has been reduced. If you are 65 and older and interested in adopting me, ask staff about our Senior Squared deal! Go to this page for more information about available pets, adopting, visiting our facility, and contacting our adoption desk.
