Parker's Story
**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**

***Parker MUST have a playful cat buddy when he journeys on to his new home. Any of his many siblings or cousins would do just fine, as Parker loves them all!

Parker’s momma Piper gave birth to 4 kittens on top of a skid in a recycling plant. The 4 kittens were brought to be nursed by momma Pinot Noir, who also had 3 kittens of her own in a bin. Pinot was the heroic momma who nursed all 7 kittens to become the healthy, happy little furballs they are today.

Like his brother Panther, Parker is a mini house panther with dignity and presence. He is not rambunctious and high energy comparatively, but sweet and a little timid in nature. Parker likes to play with the rest of the crew, and needs the reassuring chaos of his siblings and cousins. He is rarely alone and is often found sleeping with another kitten.

Parker is still working on being comfortable with people and accepting touch from them. He is getting more comfortable with being held every day. Every positive interactions with people is showing him that good things come from the big two-legged creatures in the room, and head scratches and pets are the most awesome things they offer!

Parker must have a sibling or two as he goes to his new family. With patience, love, and a lot of positivity, this tiny panther with huge eyes will capture your heart and never let go.

Would you like to make Parker and his sibs/cousing a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
