Over time, something remarkable happened: Panther Girl began to trust.<br/><br/>When the business complex she called home was scheduled for demolition, her rescuer rushed to save the remaining cats in the colony. Panther Girl was the very last to be brought to safety—rescued just in the nick of time before everything she knew was bulldozed. <br/><br/>At first, she was understandably frightened and unsure. But with patience and kindness, her gentle spirit has started to shine. Today, Panther Girl has taken on a very special role at the shelter: she’s the “surrogate mom” to younger cats.
