The moment you walk through the door, he'll be there to greet you with a friendly head bump, eager to see what you're up to and whether it involves pets, playtime, or food. Panther has an infectious enthusiasm for life that's impossible not to smile about.

Play is his favorite language. Whether he's chasing a wand toy through the air, batting toy mice across the room, or trying to outsmart his electronic toys, Panther throws his whole heart into every game. He's still a young guy who's occasionally so focused on catching the toy that he forgets where he's going—which has led to a few hilarious leaps into the water bowl and the occasional toppled dish. Nothing slows him down when there's fun to be had!

When the excitement winds down, Panther is just as happy relaxing beside his people. He loves head rubs, cheek scratches, chin rubs, and even belly rubs when he's stretched out and comfortable. At bedtime, he'll happily curl up at the foot of the bed, content just knowing he's close to his favorite humans.

Panther currently lives with two senior cats and has learned to be an absolute gentleman. While he was eager to play when they first met, he quickly learned to respect their boundaries and now coexists politely with them. He would likely thrive with another confident, playful cat close to his age, but he also has the personality to do well as the center of attention in his own home.

---

Panther's Superpower

Making every day more fun. Whether he's performing gravity-defying leaps after a wand toy, "helping" prepare breakfast, or greeting you with a happy head bump, Panther has a way of turning ordinary moments into reasons to smile.

---

Is Panther Your Perfect Match?

Loves people and greets everyone like an old friend

High-energy and absolutely adores interactive play

Entertains himself well with toys when you're busy

Affectionate and enjoys head rubs, chin scratches, and bedtime cuddles

Smart, confident, and adapts well to new situations

Gets along with other cats when introductions are done thoughtfully and would especially enjoy a playful feline friend

Would likely do well with older children and could adapt to a dog with slow introductions

A striking black cat with bright green eyes, a sleek shiny coat, and an adorable patch of white hairs on his chest

Equal parts athlete, comedian, and loyal best friend

---

Apply Now to Adopt: luluslockerrescue.org/adoption-process-application
