Panda's Story

Meet Panda! :)

Panda's short life has been tough! Panda was born into an unhealthy living situation. Her first family was evicted and left Panda behind. The complex didn't realize that Panda was still inside and they flea bombed the apartment. Thankfully, she survived. However, she escaped when animal control came in to try to get her. Panda then lived outside for a few weeks before I was able to trap her a few days ago.

Even though life has been tough, Panda is so so sweet. I've only had her with me since 6/18 so I haven't seen her full personality yet. I suspect she's very goofy and playful as she is a young tux. :) She's also definitely still settling back into living inside. But she's adjusting very fast. She hid for the first 24 hours but has been out and about today, and is enjoying the window hammock and laying on the cabinets.

Panda will be spayed on 6/24. She will also be vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. I gave her a flea bath already and a flea treatment.

Panda is definitely cat friendly and likes other cats. Given her age and being a tuxedo, she needs a cat sibling for companionship.

I require all potential adopters to meet with me in my home and to interact with Panda. I live in S Everett near Mariner HS. Panda's adoption fee is $50. If you're interested in adopting Panda, please copy and paste the following link into a new browser, and complete the adoption questionnaire. I'll then be in touch. :)
https://forms.gle/zZKKfojLghYKbgDVA

Grassroots Rescue's Adoption Policy
When adopting a cat from Grassroots Rescue, you will be dealing solely with the rescuer of that cat. While we have a generic questionnaire for you to fill out, the most important thing will be for you to connect with the rescuer and find out more about this cat; discussing the cat and your lifestyle will help your rescuer know if this cat will be a good fit for you! Your rescuer may have a different application or different questions. Filling out the adoption application will answer the basic questions for your rescuer, but we look forward to answering your questions as well. The application has been pasted below, and you may copy/paste it into an email and send directly to the rescuer in order to hasten the process; alternately, the rescue will send you the application as an attachment. You may sign the application electronically.
