Palmer's Story
Palmer is a 6-month-old orange tabby who came to us after being found injured with a collar that had slipped over one leg and become embedded.

When Palmer first arrived, he was in rough shape. Staff carefully clipped and cleaned the wound as much as he would tolerate, and it quickly became clear that he had been dealing with a significant injury and parasites for some time.

Through all of it, Palmer never stopped purring.

Despite the discomfort and everything he had been through, this sweet boy leaned into every bit of care and attention offered to him. Palmer has shown nothing but affection and trust while he’s been recovering, and it’s clear he has a gentle, loving personality.

Now that he’s safe and receiving the care he needed, Palmer is ready for the next chapter of his life — one where he’ll never have to struggle on his own again.

Palmer is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, dewormed, and on monthly preventatives.

Apply to adopt here:
https://orangecountyva.gov/159/Pet-Adoption-Foster-Care-Information
