Ozzy's Story

Hi, my name is Ozzy. I was surrendered to the shelter on 5/1/26 when my mom had to move and her new apartment didn’t allow animals. I'm 3 years old, and I'll be 4 in July. I would love to spend my 4th birthday in a loving home. I’m such a sweet girl who LOVES to use my voice. Meowing is the best and so many people call me cute because of it. I have big bug eyes and love to take advantage of that and use my heart eyes to get extra treats. It does take me a little bit of time to get used to you before you’ll see my full personality but I promise it's worth the wait. I think a quiet home would be best for me

Montgomery County SPCA's Adoption Policy
At the Montgomery County SPCA, we are dedicated to finding responsible, forever homes for all the pets in our care. To that end, we have created a thorough adoption process which helps us achieve this goal. This process includes a check of veterinary history records on any pets you currently have, and a home visit. If you rent your home, we require written proof (letter or lease) from your landlord that you are allowed to have pets. We undertake this kind of thorough review to ensure that animals who have already been discarded at least once will never have to experience this again.
