Ozzie's Story

Ozzie is a little over one year old, and he has one very important thing to tell you: wherever he goes, his brother Pumpkin goes too! These two sweet boys are bonded and must be adopted together.

Ozzie is a handsome short-haired orange-and-white neutered male. He is the more outgoing and brave of the pair. When something new happens, Pumpkin likes to hang back and let Ozzie investigate first. Once Ozzie decides everything is okay, Pumpkin is much more willing to join the fun. Ozzie enjoys playtime and cuddles equally. He absolutely LOVE playing with the laser pointer. He is outgoing and friendly.

These boys lost the only home they knew when their owner lost her housing. They came to Catmandu hoping to find a new family, but the busy sanctuary environment has been a little overwhelming for Pumpkin. Ozzie has adjusted much more quickly. Perhaps it is his adorable little moustache that gives him extra confidence.

Both Ozzie and Pumpkin are perfectly fine with other friendly cats, although staying together are their one absolute requirement! These brothers have each other for comfort and confidence, and we aren't going to separate them.

We have no information about them having lived with dogs, so any dog introduction would need to be handled carefully.

Because Pumpkin is a little timid, he and Ozzie would do best in a quieter home without small children. School-age children and older should be fine as long as they understand that Pumpkin may need a little time to warm up.

Give Pumpkin and Ozzie a home of their own, and you'll get twice the love, twice the entertainment, and two very happy brothers who can finally relax and be themselves again.

If you would like to meet these special furballs, please fill out the Online Pre-Adoption Questionnaire on our website, https://www.catmanducc.org/copy-of-adoption. Then come by Catmandu Friday through Sunday for a meet and greet and to talk with an adoption specialist. Adoption hours are 11 am to 4 pm. Plan to arrive no later than 3 pm so you have time to spend with the cats before adoptions close at 4. Please bring a carrier in case you find your purrfect friend.
Renters must bring a copy of their lease showing they are allowed to have a cat.
For more information on Catmandu, see bio.link/momcat.

Catmandu's Adoption Policy
Catmandu is located in Carson City, NV. We do not ship cats cross-country. You must be able to visit In person prior to adoption. We ask that all family members come to meet the cat, especially if there are children. Spay/neuter, shots to date, and deworming (if necessary) are included in our adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $100 for kittens under 1 year old; and $50 for adult cats. We strongly prefer to have adopters complete an application and make an appointment to meet the cats. Because we have an extremely small staff, this ensures that we will be able to give each potential adopter plenty of individual time and attention to help them select the perfect cat for their family and situation. It is very important to us that it is a good fit and the adoption is for the lifetime of the cat. Appointments are available Tuesday through Sunday.
