Ozzie's Story

Meet Ozzie, one of the Chicago Baseball kittens, currently sharing his days with littermates Cubby and Slugger. Cubby & Ozzie are bonded and must be adopted together. Slugger can be adopted with them, with another cat/kitten in the rescue or separately if there is a resident cat/kitten in the home.

Of the trio, Ozzie is the adventurer. He's almost always the first to investigate something new — whether it's a rustling sound down the hall, an unfamiliar toy, or a door left slightly ajar. True to form, he was the first to stage a daring escape from his room, setting off on his own self-guided tour of the world beyond. Curiosity isn't just a trait for Ozzie; it's a lifestyle.

For all his boldness, though, Ozzie has a deeply affectionate side. He loves a good petting session and has an almost constant purr running in the background. He's a contact kitten — he likes being close, and yes, he's one of those cats who actually enjoys belly rubs. With Ozzie, what you see is what you get: a brave little explorer who also just wants to be loved.

They are shorthaired brown and white tabby kittens about 3 months old as of July. They are up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. Check out the other siblings' profiles, too.

These kittens are looking for a forever home that is willing to foster to adopt until they are old enough to be fixed. Foster to adopt means, they will be living with you and you will be responsible for her (including financially) but the adoption will not be finalized until they are fixed. That usually happens around 6 months depending on what the vet says.

They are currently being cared for by our rescue, but would like to be a permanent part of your family today! The adoption fee of $125 EACH will benefit other CPR rescue animals.

For additional pictures/videos on our website, please copy/paste this link in your browser:
https://www.chicagopetrescue.org/cats.html#Ozzie

Current Location: Foster Home
