Oyster's Story

Meet Oyster!

Oyster can initially be one of the 'shy' ones of his litter, however the moment one of two things happen, he lets his guard down pretty quickly- when you whip out a Churu, or if you offer a good neck scritch/whole body pet. He absolutely loves affection and once he gets comfortable he frequently approaches you purring for more love and affection.

Oyster is a pretty 'chill' kitten as he is more cautious than the others and doesn't get *quite* as wild and crazy. That isn't to say that he doesn't love to play! He especially favors the wand toy or anything that rolls across the floor. He also very much enjoys the company of his littermates- due to his young age, Oyster will need to go home with a friend or to a home with a friendly resident cat. He has done well with two cat savvy kids at his foster home.

Oyster loves soft blankies and cat beds and can frequently be found napping or snuggling a friend on one. He can be pretty vocal if he decides he wants something - if he gets a whiff of wet food, he will cry until you run with the dish to serve him ASAP! He also LOVES when you fill up his dish with fresh water- he is always the first to come running to have a taste when you first put it down!

Oyster is 3 months old. He is neutered, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Apply for this sweet boy (and one of his siblings?!) today!

Trash Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
Typically the potential adopter reaches out either with or without a specific cat in mind. We will usually ask questions about the type of cat the adopter is interested in (any preferences as far as gender, color, personality, etc.), as well as the sort of home the cat would be going to (any kids, other pets, etc.). If we have a cat or kitten who would be a good fit, the adopter can fill out our application for that animal. If not, the person can still fill out the app, and we will keep them if mind if we end up with a cat who we think would be a good fit. Once the app is reviewed/approved (including checking vet and landlord references), we would chat any further with the adopter if needed, and then schedule a meet and greet with them with the cat or kitten. If the animal and the adopter hit it off, the adopter would then fill out our adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and take the cat or kitten home!
