Otto's Story

Hi, I'm Otto!

I've been waiting a while for this moment, and I'm really hoping you're the one who's finally going to see what I already know — I am a pretty awesome boy.

I came into this world in November of 2022, and for two years I made my way as a stray before landing in a shelter in November of 2024. I was relieved to be somewhere safe, and I told myself someone would come for me soon. I waited. And waited. And kept on waiting. The shelter I called home was in a rural area where adoptions are few and far between, and in an overcrowded place full of cats, a quiet, mellow guy like me can be easy to pass over. Not because there's anything wrong with me — quite the opposite. I'm just not the loudest voice in the room.

So I've made the move to rescue, and I am ready. Ready for someone to finally stop, look at me, and say — yes, that one. That's my cat.

I don't ask for much. A warm spot to curl up in, a window to watch the world go by, and a family to call my very own. I get along wonderfully with other cats, so a feline friend is no problem at all. But what I really crave is human connection — your attention, your affection, your company at the end of a long day.

I'm a gentle, quiet soul, and I'd do best in a calm home with older kids or adults who appreciate the beauty of a low-key companion. No drama, no chaos — just a sweet, steady boy who will love you with everything he's got.

--
Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age. If you are interested in meeting this cat, please fill out an application on our website!

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application
