Hi my name is OTIS! I was taken in by my Hiawatha Animal Humane Hello! My name is OTIS! I am a young adult orange kitty with some creamy highlights! <br/>I came to live with my Hiawatha Animal Humane Society foster mom Teri a while ago, after having been found lost, hungry and underweight. It was obvious I used to belong to someone, because I knew exactly what to do with a litter box and I also was super comfortable living inside a home.<br/><br/>I am very playful and energetic so I hope I will be adopted into a home with another cat companion and playmate. For now, I keep busy playing with my basket of kitty toys.<br/>I love to be around people, so a busy household or a person who works from home would be ideal. I also enjoy being picked up and snuggling with my humans. Im also a talker and will let you know when I want to play or to cuddle. <br/>I've been vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, so I'm now super ready for my new forever loving home!<br/>So...if you think I am the feline for you, please call TERI and set up an appointment to visit me. Hiawatha Animal Humane Society's Adoption Policy
We do not have a shelter. All of our rescued, rehabilitated and then adoptable animals are cared for by volunteer foster families and treated like one of their own family pets while they await placement in their forever homes. We may have as many as 15 -20 dogs or cats available for adoption, or occasionally none for a short time. If you don’t see what you are looking for now, please revisit us again soon because our numbers change frequently! Also, when you find an animal on our site that interests you PLEASE PHONE THE FOSTER DIRECTLY. Their contact number is posted at the bottom of the pet’s description. All of our dedicated volunteers and animals thank you for your support!
