Otis's Story

DOB: 05/01/20Say hello to Otis, a 6-year-old fluffy male kitty. Otis was recently adopted from another shelter, but the resident cat in his new home does not agree with the idea of having a kitty companion in the house. It seems best for both cats that Otis find a more peaceful residence! Prior to coming to the shelter, it is thought that in Otis' very first home he was bullied by another animal.Despite all he's been through, Otis is a cuddly and affectionate cat who loves to play. He longs for attention and a quiet home where he can relax. Otis is very skittish around new people, but warms up to them if they’re slowly introduced to him. Particularly if the new person wants to play a game of string with him.It is not known whether Otis is good with other house pets. Otis may not appreciate dogs, as it may have been a dog that bullied him previously. Otis might do okay with other cats provided the cats are non-aggressive and chill when meeting him.Otis is excellent around people and has a wonderful disposition. He’s a chunky little charmer. He would be very happy as an only kitty, but with a slow introduction, may do well with a calm older cat.

This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
