Oscar the Great's Story

Oscar the Great is currently in foster care and ready for adoption via our virtual process!

Oscar the Great, a two-year-old male, just arrived and is still getting settled in, so we're just beginning to learn who they are. Right now, everything is new-new people, new sounds, new routines-and we're giving them time to relax, decompress, and show us their true personality at their own pace.

Here's what we know so far about his time in foster care: https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:43844fa6-f1c6-413c-bf11-a83a9916fba9

Oscar is settling into foster but is still a little bit shy and sensitive. He will benefit from a supportive atmosphere. He is a super cute boy and very much wants to make friends. He is slowly building his confidence being around people - especially when treats are involved! He is a handsome guy who is super sweet and gentle. His foster says he loves "When he's playing with the toys and carries them all round the apartment with him". He is making progress with his fosters and starting to relax and be more comfortable.

He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had preventative treatments to ensure he is ready for his next steps.

Submit an adoption survey from above and our team will reach out via phone or email (check spam) to schedule a counseling call. For any additional questions, please contact fosternyc@bestfriends.org.

Please remember, pets cannot be held or reserved.
