Precious Paws has adoption policies designed to ensure every cat goes to a safe, responsible, and lifelong home. We typically do not accept owner surrenders and focus solely on cats rescued through TNR efforts, injured, or abandoned. All adopters must complete an application, including questions about current pets, home environment, and willingness to provide lifelong care. Applicants must have all existing pets spayed or neutered or have appointments scheduled to do so. We may follow up with veterinarians for references and confirm household approval when necessary. Our goal is to match each cat with a home that can provide stability, proper medical care, and enrichment, ensuring the safety and well-being of every animal in our program.
