OSCAR - M, DLH, Tuxedo, approximately 11 years old. This shy boy has been through a lot through his life. He is very timid, easily startled and doesn’t do well around most men. This makes us think he was abused previously by a man. If that wasn’t sad enough, his previous owner surrendered him to the Humane Society so she could get married. All of this has caused this sweet boy to be timid and easily startled. Oscar has a gentle heart, wants to be loved and feel safe, but understandably he’s grumpy and always in survival mode. Ideally he would be the only pet in his new home that’s also patient and understanding. He would do best if his new owner was a woman or an older household that can provide a quiet environment and companionship. He is litter box trained, FeLV/FIV negative, neutered, and vaccinated.
