Orion - the Star's Story

Hi, I am Orion, one of the five Greek Gods kitties! I came to OCSP when a good samaritan rescued my siblings and me from a home that was going put us out on the streets. I was not meant to be a street kitten, so I am very happy in my foster home.

I am named for the God Orion, who was a great hunter. And yes, I hunt, especially toy mice! I love to climb up and down the stairs, and I am the one who watches my siblings from a high (when I am not apart of the cuddle puddle). I like to think I am a bit of a star, staring down at the land below from a high in my cat tree house. I can be a little on the timid side, but once I gain trust - I will ask for pets with a long drawn out meow. Of my siblings I am not the first in the room, but I like to see how they test the waters first, before I dive in - unless they have a toy that I want. I will need another cat in my life to feel safest - and I would love to be adopted with one of my siblings (I hang with Atlas most).

Wouldn't you like to meet me and see if I am the perfect addition to YOUR family? Come visit me at Petco during our weekly adoption events!!!

For more information on how to adopt any of our cats, please contact OCSP Cat Rescue at ocsp.adoptions@gmail.com, putting the cat's name in the subject line.

Check our website for latest event details:
https://www.ocspcatrescue.org/locations

Adoption fees are $205 per adult cat (over 8 months), $170 per senior cat (over 10 years old) and $225 per kitten up to 8 months old. We offer a $25 reduced fee for adopting two cats together.

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, deworming, UTD on vaccines, FELV/FIV testing, and any other vet care that has been administered.
