Origami's Story

My foster writes: Origami is sweet, curious, and super friendly! She loves to chase little toy mice and bring them to you as a present. She's a perfect cuddle buddy in the mornings and after a long day. She's very responsive to pets and has the cutest squeaky meow. She's an attentive companion who wants nothing more than to receive your love and attention. Her loaf form is a 10/10!

A volunteer writes:
Origami has come a long way since her arrival at the care center, relinquished as she was allegedly scratching her owner(no details provided).Origami is curious and welcoming when a visitor shows up at her door. She does not stay in hiding and it is a must for her to say "hi" and "what's the sccoop?" She is still a little wary of loud noises and sudden moves but clearly enjoys sweet talks and petting. She likes treats but prefers cuddling over eating even the best offerings. I like the way she closes her eyes showing how much she appreciates the attention. Origami does have a right eye issue that might or not need further care. She will need her outside veterinarian to follow her for that matter in addition to the usual yearly health care maintenance. A quiet and experienced home without boisterous children will be the ideal destination for our lovely Origami. Origami is I guess a special need kitty and those so deserve our love and care too. Origami is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center.

What my friends at ACC say about me:
Origami was at the front of the kennel eating from her wet food bowl. When spoken to and opening the door, she hovers over the front entrance, rubs her face on the wall, and leans in for cheek rubs. She ignores treats offered and welcomes petting on the head. When stroking her body, she raises her hips and tail in the air. During pick up, she remains calm, tenses up a little, and allows petting all over when held and hugged for 10 seconds. After placing her back down, she continues to appreciate more petting and cheek rubs. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 9.4lbs Age: 7yrs 8mths 1wks Animal has been Spayed
