Oreo's Story

Oreo is a 1.5 year old cat found wandering the desert. He is very shy around people, especially those he doesn't know, but he secretly craves scritches and pets. Once he's comfortable with you, he'll hang out near you and come over to rub on you and ask to be pet. He's obsessed with food and loves playing with toys.
Oreo gets along really well with cats and calm dogs, and they really help him build his trust in humans. He would do best in a home with at least one other cat, but would also do well with a dog.

He is looking for someone who understands that he may take a while to feel comfortable and who is willing to help him work on his fears. He doesn't have any teeth so he should have a primarily wet food diet.

Because of his fear of new humans, he should be started in a crate before being allowed throughout the rest of the house.
